8 Affirmations to Help You Stay Grounded When Life Gets Hectic

Do you work with affirmations? These simple words of encouragement are wonderful tools to use when you want to focus on improving a specific area of your life. In my previous post, How to Create a Grounding Ritual Using Crystals, I mentioned that I would be following up with a list of affirmations to use for grounding. I put together this list based on my own desire to have affirmations I could use whenever I need to re-center, re-connect, and ground my energy. My previous post goes more in depth about the importance of grounding, so be sure to check it out if you haven’t already.

Below you will find the first in my Joiful Affirmations series. Each of these affirmation lists will come with a free downloadable version that you can print out and place somewhere where you will see it often, or keep as a page in your journal. Enjoy!

I stand barefoot on the earth to feel rooted and connected.

I check in with myself before committing to a new project.

I take time to reflect upon my accomplishments.

I schedule time to be alone.

I create space for meditation in my life.

I breathe deeply and allow my breath to anchor me to the present moment.

I replenish my energy with healthy foods and plenty of water.

I am centered. I am grounded.

    I really need to get on this grounding and affirmation cycle. I keep telling myself that I’m going to start doing it but always fall short.

    I am a huge fan of affirmations they do wonders for me when I am feeling stressed . Gonna give these ones a try next time I light up my incense and am about to meditate .

    LOVE THIS. Had these up during an important call I just had and they helped keep me grounded and in flow, instead of getting nervous. Gonna email the link to my mom so she can print them out for me 🙂 (I really need a printer already…haha!)
