Whenever I embark upon a new journey, I like to document it here on the blog. It’s all too easy to lose sight of our accomplishments when we’re constantly thinking about our next steps. Having this public record of victories, both big and small, really helps. Launching The Creative Abundance Tribe, a community of engaged collaborators, is a pretty big victory in my eyes. I can’t wait to share how, why, and for whom, I did just that. Keep reading to learn more.
By now you may know that when I finally accepted that I’m a multi-passionate creative and stopped trying to choose just one “thing” to pursue, a new world was revealed to me. I started a blog, shared my story of self-discovery, and recently have launched a coaching program where I work one on one with clients to help them overcome their own confusion about having many passions and not knowing where to begin. So why did it feel like there was still something missing?
In my post, It’s Time to Start Celebrating Multi-Passionate Creatives, I ended by saying that my goal was to create a community where multi-passionates could come together to connect, inspire, and find their tribe.
Here’s an excerpt from that post:
I don’t want to show up at the multi-passionate party to find that only a handful of people are there. I want it to be a full-on rager with singers who also craft, writers who also dance, photographers who are also poets. All of us honoring our gifts and dipping into the punch bowl of creativity freely.

I knew when I hit “publish,” that I had a responsibility to keep my word. I had to throw that party I described. The truth is though, I wasn’t sure how I was going to create this community.
When I think of community, I think of:
-Showing up consistently to connect
-Learning and growing together
How could I build that, not just for myself, but for all the people who were waking up to the fact that they too are multi-passionate creatives? I knew just writing about starting a tribe, or wishing for one and hoping it would manifest was not enough. I had to take action and make it happen.
Two years ago, my theme for the year was: Year of the Follow Through. That year I learned the art of showing up and doing what you set out to do until it’s complete. I proved to myself that I was capable of finishing what I start (something many multi-passionates doubt within themselves). That being said, I knew I had to lead by example find a way to make this community a reality.
So I got to thinking. My newsletters are where I connect more intimately with my audience, and I wasn’t sure how I could translate that into a more communal space. Then, another thought occurred to me: Why not start a Facebook group?!
Now, I’ll be honest, I knew nothing about creating and moderating a Facebook group. In fact, the only thing I use Facebook for is sharing those videos that we all love of babies or puppies (have you seen the one where the baby hugs a bunch of strangers before leaving the park? So cute!)
Anyways, not knowing how to do something might have stopped me in the past, but these days, that’s just not the case anymore. I tapped into my creative abundance and moved forward with building the community I’d been craving. I followed through.
I’m so proud, honored, and thrilled to present…
The Creative Abundance Tribe is a Facebook community where having many passions is celebrated, rather than shunned. It’s a space to share ideas and frustrations, collaborate on projects, and enjoy a deep sense of connection with other multi-passionate creatives.
As the moderator of the group, I show up and offer resources to support tribe members along on their journeys. From affirmations for creativity to productivity hacks. I’m so excited to continue sharing are serving this beautiful bunch of creative beings.
At this moment as I type this post, our tribe is only a litlte over one week old and members are already saying that it feels like “home.” We even had a member give away free gifts to their tribemates, just to show appreciation for being welcomed into this supportive space. I can’t wait to see how much more fun we’ll have as time goes on.
Creating this community means more than choosing a name and clicking a few buttons to make it public. It’s a space where I can invite creatives who resonate with my story to share our journeys together. Having a community of like-minded individuals means having a place to grow, discover, and show up authentically.
The Creative Abundance Tribe is my dream come true and I’m so thankful to every single person who has joined thus far.
Joining the tribe is simple. The only requirements are:
If you’re reading this and you’re already a member of the Creative Abundance Tribe, I want to thank you for making this community a reality. Thank you for showing up to the party, thank you for being the party. Let’s keep it going, my loves! I’ll see you in the tribe.
