GEMINI SEASON 2020 | MULTI-PASSIONATE CREATIVE | ASTROLOGY

Each month she provides monthly Astrological energy updates and insights. Enjoy!
We are switching this article up a bit! Instead of talking about the astrology of the calendar month, we will be talking about the astrology of the zodiacal month.
The zodiacal month is simply the 4 weeks that pass when the Sun is in a single sign, i.e. “Gemini Season” or “Scorpio Season”.
We felt it would be best to craft these articles from Sun season to Sun season because then we could really go into the depth of the one sign and how it impacts the collective. You’ll learn how the New and Full Moons that will happen during any given Sun season are actually paired together.
In short, exploring Astrology through the zodiac seasons is easier to understand since they carry one continuous theme!
A few fast facts:
Dates: May 21 – June 21
Mantra: “I Think”
Creative Specialty: Storytelling
As an Air sign, Gemini greatly enjoys expanding knowledge. What Gemini does really well, and how it differs from the other two Air signs (Libra and Aquarius), is having lots of information about lots of different things.
I mentioned in the last article that Gemini can be considered a naturally multi-passionate sign because it’s very difficult for Gemini to stick to one thing. Gemini will become interested in something, gather just enough information about it to be dangerous, and then move onto the next interest.
Gemini gets a very bad reputation. It seems that I’m never too far away from meeting another person who had a terrible relationship with a Gemini.
But let’s take a moment to look at these stereotypes from a high-vibe perspective.
If you’ve ever felt a Gemini was wishy-washy…in the highest form, this is a superpower.
Look, Gemini makes a quick decision based on the information it presently has. If Gemini acquires new information, it’s going to reevaluate the original decision and course-correct if it turns out they were wrong.
This isn’t being wishy-washy, it’s being flexible and comfortable with the possibility of being wrong.
If you’ve ever felt a Gemini was two-faced…Gemini is just really good at reading a room. Being Mutable means that Gemini is an adapter (along with Sagittarius and Virgo).
It’s easy for Gemini to identify the energy that exists, see what holes are there, and fit into those holes as if they’ve never existed. Sometimes this can be more beneficial to other people, as opposed to being beneficial to the Gemini.
If you’ve ever felt a Gemini was too cold…yeah, kinda, but it’s useful.
It isn’t that Gemini doesn’t have feelings. It’s that Gemini thinks before it feels. Gemini is more concerned with black and white facts, especially when the situation calls for it most.
Being associated with the planet Mercury causes Gemini to think with the mind instead of feel with the heart. If you ever want to connect on a deeper level with a Gemini, have a conversation with them and see where their mind goes.
Gemini Season is a great time to dig into any random interests you have, just for the fun of it! The more intellectual you can get with it, the better. Bonus points: bring a friend along! Gemini doesn’t really enjoy being alone so you might find that during this time, you’re more inclined to connect with your friends and ask people to do activities with you.
When a planet is in an Air sign, it has the potential to bring about anxiety. (Anxiety through thought.) So I’d say it would be a good idea to be prepared for that just in case. If you find that you’re too in your head, moving your body typically helps, or seek professional help if needed.
I know it was mentioned in the last post but just as a little reminder, the Gemini New Moon will occur on May 22 at 10:38 AM PST at 2 degrees of Gemini.
(Only pay attention to the degree if you feel called to. It’s just a way to get more precise with your understanding of astrology and your personal chart. If you have the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, your Ascendant, or your Midheaven anywhere from 0 to 4 degrees of Gemini, you might feel this New Moon more strongly than others. If you have any of these planets between 0 and 4 degrees of Sagittarius, Virgo, or Pisces, you could feel the New Moon energy intensely, as well.)
This is a time to really work with the Gemini energy in its purest form. Set some goals and intensions that allow you to really feel the excitement of Gemini.
Here are some considerations and journal prompts:
Any goals or intentions you set on this date will actually have a 6 month gestation period. I know that oftentimes we talk about intentions from New Moon to New Moon (a one month period), but have you ever noticed that those intentions don’t always come to form within the month?
Because of this, I’d like to introduce you to the fact that each New Moon intention that you set will correspond with a Full Moon in the same sign 6 months later. So in this case, the Gemini New Moon on May 22nd will reach a culmination with the Gemini Full Moon on November 30th.
You might find this is the time that the goal is fully realized or it may feel like the perfect time to celebrate any developments or accomplishments along the lines of that goal or intention.
On June 5th, we will have a Full Moon in Sagittarius at 12:12 PM PST at 15 degrees of Sag.
(Only pay attention to the degree if you feel called to. It’s just a way to get more precise with your understanding of astrology and your personal chart. If you have the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, your Ascendant, or your Midheaven anywhere from 13 to 17 degrees of Gemini or Sagittarius, you might feel this Full Moon more strongly than others. Also, if you have any of these planets between 13 and 15 degrees of Virgo, or Pisces, you could feel the Full Moon energy intensely, as well.)
The Full Moon will ask you to release any of those interests that you can’t dig deeper into. Sagittarius is the opposite sign to Gemini (which is how the Full Moon is formed) so where Gemini likes to know a little about a lot of things, Sagittarius wants to know a lot about a few things.
Sagittarius is on a constant search for meaning and something bigger than itself. It’s often referred to as the Philosopher of the Zodiac. So during this Full Moon, you might be challenged to dig deeper and find more meaning.
If you feel that you’ve already gone through a process similar to this, you may see a culmination in regards to what you were doing 6 months ago. You might want to ask yourself what you were working toward back around November 2019 and then see if some or all of that has come to fruition during this Sagittarius Full Moon.
One of the most creative days of the Gemini season is May 26th in the morning.
The Moon will be in Cancer and she will make an ethereal connection to Neptune in Pisces.
This is a great time to let your emotions guide your work. Let them take you to all the dreamy places you’ve ever wanted to go and see what magical things you can create. A small word of caution is to have a solid grounding practice for after your creative morning.
The Moon will make more connections with other planets that day that might make your emotions feel heavier.
Another creative day during the Gemini season is May 29th in the evening.
We will have a Virgo Moon which will make a very practical connection to Uranus in Taurus. Uranus always makes our time feel a little quirky and sudden, but with the Earth energy surrounding it, this is a great evening to work on some out of the box ideas that have some real staying power.
These mini-notes are here to help you begin an explorative journey, starting where you already are. What is mentioned here is what the Sun is lighting up for you during Gemini Season.
